School Board updates 2026 meeting calendar

American Indian student education, district busing and potential roofing bonds top March 24 board agenda
The Red Wing School Board on Tuesday will consider its formal response to the American Indian Parent Council, which last month presented a resolution of non-concurrence regarding educational programs for American Indian children. Some offices closed during spring break
Red Wing Public Schools will hold spring break March 16-20. While students will not be in class, the District will offer some services, including Kids Junction child care. The hours and closures that week are: Tower View Alternative High School: Closed. District Office: 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday-Friday; closed Monday. Community Education: 8 a.m.
Hispanic Outreach, SiteLogiq to address board on Monday
Hispanic Outreach officials will provide information Monday to the Red Wing School Board regarding emergency transportation support provided to students over the past two months. Good luck at State, Wingers swim & dive!
Red Wing High School will send five swim & dive team competitors plus three alternates to the state meet Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 26-28. They are: Competition will start at noon each day at the University of Minnesota’s Jean K Freeman Aquatic Center. Diving preliminaries will be on Thursday (8 dives). Nelson is diver #6 and Mikkelson
