Colvill Family Center will hold Meet-the-Teacher events on Wednesday, Aug. 28, and Tuesday, Sept. 2. Meet the Teacher; families will receive information on how to schedule a one-on-one meeting.
SUNNYSIDE & BURNSIDE ELEMENTARY SCHOOLS
At Sunnyside & Burnside, open houses will take place 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26. Families are welcome to stop in anytime, but teachers will have a 30 minute lunch break 11:45 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. and a 30 minute dinner break 5:15-5:45 p.m. at Burnside and 5:30-6 p.m. at Sunnyside, so families need to know teachers will not be available at those times.
While families are welcome to stop in to drop off supplies whenever, teachers will be doing short presentations twice during that open house block, according to the following schedule:
Kindergarten (Sunnyside) — 11:15 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Grade 1 (Sunnyside) — 11:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m.
Grade 2 (Burnside) — 12:30 and 6 p.m.
Grade 3 (Burnside) — 12:45 and 6:15 p.m.
Grade 4 (Burnside) — 1 and 6:30 p.m.
TWIN BLUFF MIDDLE SCHOOL
Twin Bluff Middle School will hold an open house from noon to 7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 27. Students will be able to pick up their schedules and deposit money into their ala carte meal accounts. We will also be asking families to complete their student information sheets so we have current information.
RED WING HIGH SCHOOL
Grade 8 orientation
Eighth graders will get the lay of the land 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 19, with help from 11th and 12th graders in SOAR — Success, Opportunity, Achievement and Recognition.
Grades 8-9-10-11-12
Red Wing High School will have an open house on Thursday, Aug. 27, from noon to 7 p.m. Jostens will be at school for students in grades 8-12 to get their school picture taken for the yearbook and the school ID.
TOWER VIEW ALTERNATIVE HIGH SCHOOL
Tower View will have an open house 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (lunch break for staff noon to 1 p.m.) Thursday, Aug. 27. Your school pictures will be taken at the high school on this day.
