The last school day for students will be Thursday, May 30.
School Board members approved the change to the 2023-2024 calendar at their meeting Monday, April 15.
The academic year originally included a half-day on Friday, May 31. This was to ensure that the district could meet the required number of instructional days in the event hazardous winter weather prompted numerous closures. Due to the mild winter, the half-day is unnecessary.
