Red Wing School Board will meet to elect officers and take care of annual business at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 2. The organizational meeting, which is required by state statute, will be in Red Wing High School J110.
In addition to a long list of required action items, the agenda includes a review of options to bring oversight of Alternative Learning Center/Tower View under Red Wing Public Schools for the 2024-2025 school year.
The meeting will be livestreamed on the RWPS YouTube channel and recorded.
A workshop at 5 p.m. will proceed the meeting. The workshop agenda will include the high school course catalog for 2024-2025, an update on BARR — Building Assets, Reducing Risks, and a discussion about the effectiveness of the board’s workshop format.
