Special workshop set for Thursday
The Red Wing School Board will meet twice this week: The regular board meeting started at 5 p.m. today, May 26. The board will hold a special workshop at 5 p.m. Thursday, May 28. Both will be in Red Wing High School J110.
May 26: The Student & School Showcase will feature the Tower View robotics team. Members recently returned from state competition. The business agenda will include:
- A finance update.
- A resolution to approve long-term maintenance bonds. Projects this summer will include the Prairie Island Arena roof as well as sections of the Twin Bluff Middle School roof.
May 28: The Early Childhood Advisory Committee presented its findings during the board’s May 12 workshop. Now board members will dig into the recommended priorities and discuss related financial considerations.
