The Red Wing Port Authority voted 6-0 on Tuesday, Nov. 4, to approve a purchase agreement for the Jefferson building. On Monday, Nov. 10, Red Wing School Board members will vote. This will be a rare occurrence when action is taken at a workshop.
The workshop will begin at 5:30 p.m. in Red Wing High School room J110. Port Authority Executive Director Kyle Klatt will be in attendance to answer any questions related to potential sale.
The agenda also will include:
- An update on the Red Wing College Promise.
- A preliminary review of a districtwide facilities study.
- A presentation on the 2025-2026 Comprehensive, Achievement and Civic Readiness Report, which is required by the state.
The board then will go into closed session for negotiation discussions.
