Red Wing School Board members will get an update on finances Monday in advance of the final 2024-2025 audit report. The meeting will begin at 5:30 p.m. Oct. 27 in Red Wing High School room J110. Superintendent Bob Jaszczak and Finance Director Chris Muhvich will give an overview. In the coming weeks, CLA auditors will present their findings and then in December the board will hold a Truth-in-Taxation hearing.
The meeting will begin with the Student & School Showcase featuring student Mayor for a DAy Kylie Dahl. The Twin Bluff Middle School seventh grader submitted the winning essay in the City of Red Wing and Mayor Gary Iocco’s new initiative. On Monday, Kylie will share her thoughts on what she learned by being the mayor of Red Wing for a day.
