Burnside Elementary Schools’ three specialist teachers and their work with the Responsive Classroom will be in the spotlight when the Red Wing School Board meets at 6 p.m. Monday, Feb. 5, in Red Wing High School J110.
Principal Jen Grover will appear with Leah Harris, art; Trina Petterson, STEM; and Tom Wentzler, music. Their approach incorporates four pillars: positive community, effective management, engaging academics, and developmentally responsive teaching.
The board also will hold a workshop at 5 p.m. The primary topic will be student engagement.
Only the business meeting will be streamed live and recorded on the District’s YouTube channel.
