American Indian student education, district busing and potential roofing bonds top March 24 board agenda

The Red Wing School Board on Tuesday will consider its formal response to the American Indian Parent Council, which last month presented a resolution of non-concurrence regarding educational programs for American Indian children. The council outlined improvements it would like to see. This is part of Minnesota Statute 124D.78.

The meeting will begin at 5 p.m. March 24 in Red Wing High School room J110. The agenda also will include votes on:

  • Issuance of bonds to fund replacing the Prairie Island Arena roof and two small sections of the Twin Bluff Middle School roof;
  • Adoption of a transportation contract for busing services starting with the 2026-2027 school year;

The meeting will be livestreamed. Find the full agenda on the BoardBook.
